KJ-717 Hot melt Butyl Adhesive
Product Overview
KJ-717 Hot melt Butyl Adhesive, primarily made from butyl rubber, offers excellent waterproofing, UV resistance, and insulation properties against both high and low temperatures. With a low water vapor transmission rate, it can extend the service life of photovoltaic components. It has a low surface energy, which means it typically adheres well to glass, metals, and common plastics without the need for a primer. The adhesive performs well when processed at temperatures between 150-180 degrees Celsius and can be applied using a hot-melt adhesive machine for in-line application. It can also be applied as a tape for later use. Photovoltaic modules bonded with KJ-717 have passed UL 1703 certification.
Applicable Scope
Suitable for internal lamination sealing and adhesion of solar photovoltaic components, effectively preserving the output power of products like perovskite and heterojunction modules.
