Product Overview

KJ-666 Butyl Sealant is a neutral sealant based on butyl rubber. It has excellent  aging, corrosion,oxidation and  excellent sealing performance. It can resist a wide range of tensile deformation and crack at low temperature.

Applicable Scope

In steel roofing systems, areas such as the seams of standing seam roofing panels, various edge trims, flat joints, and openings for roof fans and ducts are vulnerable.
Note: Due to structural shifts in steel roofing systems and the impact of external forces like wind and snow loads, displacement can easily occur at connection points. This may lead to stress inconsistencies and cracks at joints. Current sealants and silicones cannot move synchronously with the joints of color-coated steel panels, which can cause water accumulation and siphoning effects during rainfall, leading to continuous leakage at roofing connection points.
